Psalm 3 is the first Psalm with a title. “A Psalm of David when he fled from Absalom his son.” The Psalm shows us what it’s like for child of God to pray through a season of fear. David fled Jerusalem, his son driving him away with an army. Yet, David held onto hope and peace because he had a personal walk with God. In this sermon, I tried my best to help my congregation think Biblically about sinful fear and how prayer helps us process our fears in the presence of a merciful Father.
