The son of a pastor, Jonathan’s walk with Jesus began as a young child when he trusted Christ during an Easter sermon. That walk continued as he received his BA from The College at Southeastern and his MA from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. During those college years, he married his wife, Chelsea, and they now have four children. In 2016, Jonathan Homesley became the Senior Pastor of Lake Wylie Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina. He also hosts the Joy Like Swords podcast and regularly writes for his church.
