The Book of Genesis: Study Notes

Genesis introduces us to God as our Creator and the one who calls Abraham’s descendants into covenant blessing. For three semesters and 37 weeks, I had the pleasure of expositing the book of Genesis in a community women’s Bible study at Lake Wylie Baptist Church. Below you will find my study notes for your own use. I do ask that you not republish or distribute the notes without permission. I also gladly admit that I relied heavily on the work of Allen Ross in his exposition of Genesis titled Creation and Blessings. I have tried, along the way to note where I have used Dr. Ross’s own outlines or language as well as other commentators.  God has blessed me with abundant resources and time for my own study and I and grateful to share it here for your own growth in the faith.

May God bless the reading and study of his Word.
