Prayers for the Church
Father,
Give us to have certainty of the things we have been taught. (Luke 1:4) And let our knowledge grow up to reach all the riches of full assurance. (Col. 2:2) Cause us to go beyond knowledge into faith and trust.
Enable us, we pray, to follow the pattern of sound words that we have heard in the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus (1 Tim. 1:13) and to continue in what we have learned and have firmly believed. (2 Tim. 3:14)
Prayers for Members
O Lord, we give you great thanks for ___ and ___ ___. Their continual ministry and prayers for our church have enriched our fellowship for decades. Supply all their needs. Give them good health. Strengthen their faith in Christ.
We praise you as well for ___ and ___ ___. You constantly bless our church through them, so we pray that they would be blessed by you. As they raise ___ in your nurture and admonition, bless their parenting.
Prayers for the Lost
Father, increase your church in Argentina. We pray especially for the work of Sam Masters and the work of Carey Seminary in Cordoba. Supply all their needs and raise up men and women in that nation to serve your church.
We pray for nation of Armenia, so close to the conflict in Ukraine and Russia. Father, bring peace to that region that your church may proclaim the gospel more easily and broadly to those who have never heard.
