Proverbs 6:16

There are six things that the Lord hates,

seven that are an abomination to him:

Proverbs 8:13

The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil.

Pride and arrogance and the way of evil

and perverted speech I hate.

Ezra and Nehemiah are all about reformation. God calls his people out of their exile and back to Jerusalem. They rebuild the altar and temple of the Lord (Ezra) and continue to rebuild the walls of the city (Nehemiah).
